Miika Blinn works at the Federation of German Consumer Organisations (vzbv) on the question of how society should deal with algorithmic systems in order to minimise its risks and exploit its benefits. At the centre of his work is the question of what legal framework we need for AI so that consumers can make self-determined decisions in the future. His work on artificial intelligence is currently focussed on the EU's Artificial Intelligence Act and its implementation in Germany. Further topics of his work are the digital platform economy and competition law in the digital world, in particular the application of the Digital Markets Act (DMA).
