Karin is programlead at the Dutch Data Protection Authority for the team on Algorithms/AI and Personal Data. The goal of the programme is to strengthen supervision of algorithms and AI and stimulate their responsible development and deployment. She has twenty years of experience at different ministries in the Dutch government. Prior to joining the Dutch DPA, Karin worked as program manager e-Justice and senior coordinating advisor innovation, digitalization and technology at the Dutch Ministry of Justice and Security.
