Clarisse is Senior Fellow at the Asian Business Law Institute in Singapore, where she leads a landmark project on the convergence of data privacy laws in Asia. She is the editor of a unique compendium of reports on the regulation of international data transfers in 14 Asian jurisdictions (2018). Prior to this, she was Head of CNIL’s Department of International Affairs, then Counselor to CNIL's President. Clarisse studied in Paris and Oxford and holds a Ph.D. from Tilburg University in the Netherlands. She is a member of the Asian Privacy Scholars Network, AsiaDPO, and the Research Alliance for Data Governance and Cyber Security hosted by Peking University.
