Francis Hunger is an artist and researcher, investing into histories of technology as an expression of power constellations. Currently he is researcher and university teacher for Emerging Digital Media at Art Academy Munich and PostDoc at the DATAUNION research project at VUB, Brussels. In 2021-2023 Francis was a researcher for the project Training The Archive at Hartware MedienKunstVerein, Dortmund, and Ludwig Forum Aachen, critically examining the use of AI, statistics and pattern recognition for art and curating.
