She works on the ethics, construction and impact of technologies and artificial intelligence on society, especially with respect to existing discriminations. She is currently a PhD candidate in Sociology at the University of Milan and a visiting researcher at Utrecht University with a feminist empirical analysis of public authorities' use of automated decision-making and its social construction. Since 2019 she is the Head of Advocacy & Policy at Privacy Network, an Italian association in the field of digital rights, and in 2023 she co-founded Immanence, which assesses the social impacts and risks of digital technologies and helps build them through ethical choices. Her book Technology of Revolution will be released in June 2024 by Il Saggiatore, Italy.
