Alexandra is a Ph.D. researcher at the European University Institute and a visiting scholar at Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Her project examines the fundamental rights implications of algorithmic profiling in EU large-scale systems used for security and migration purposes from an interdisciplinary perspective, with a focus on the right to non-discrimination and data protection. Her research interests focus on the socio-legal implications of tech-based governance in the public domain. Before her PhD, she was a practising lawyer in Greece specialising in human rights law. She holds a LL.M. in European Law from the EUI, a LL.M. in Human Rights Litigation from the University of Grenoble Alpes (FR) and a LL.B. from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (GR).
