Guillermo Lazcoz is a researcher at the CIBER of Rare Diseases and a Chair in Law and the Human Genome Network member. PhD in Human Rights, Public Authorities and the European Union: Public and Private Law, University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). His doctoral thesis focused on the human oversight of automated decision-making based on profiling. And he is currently working on data protection law for genetic data sharing and other areas of biomedical research.
