Anna Lytra is a legal officer and a Deputy Data Protection Officer of the European Data Protection Board, which she joined in May 2020. She holds an LLM in Law and Technology from Tilburg University and is a qualified lawyer in Greece. Before joining the EDPB, she worked in the field of data protection and cybersecurity at an international law firm and at a French consulting company. Anna specialises in compliance tools under the GDPR, including, binding corporate rules, codes of conduct, certification schemes and accreditation requirements for monitoring and certification bodies. In addition, she has been involved in financial matters, the EDPB’s binding decisions under Article 65 GDPR, and social media-related matters.
