Gabe Menard is a Senior Policy and Research Analyst at the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC). He is the OPC policy lead on de-identification, biometrics, and facial recognition, and has led the office’s work on a number of priority files in those areas. In his previous role at the University of Toronto, he conducted research at the intersection of policy, society, and digital technology.
