Anna Oosterlinck is currently Head of UN at ARTICLE 19, where she leads the organization’s engagement with the UN in Geneva and NY on freedom of expression and related rights. Previously she served at Senior Political Advisor at the Permanent Mission to the UN in NY during Belgium’s membership of the UN Security Council in 2019-20 (and in 2007-08). She was appointed by the UNSG as the human rights expert on the UN Security Council mandated Panel of Experts for South Sudan (2015-18). She has worked on peacekeeping finance at the UN, humanitarian response at Save the Children UK and on international trade for the Flemish government.
