As an adviser in the Internal Market Department Jan works on issues related to AI, the free movement of goods, standardisation, product liability, as well as public contracts. Prior to joining BusinessEurope Jan worked in Brussels at FleishmanHillard where he specialised on digital issues, developing a passion for AI, data protection, and wider privacy issues. Jan received his Master’s degree in European public affairs from Maastricht University, and has a dual-degree in international studies and Arabic language and literature from the Ohio State University for his Bachelor. As Polish-American Jan is fluent in both Polish and English, and has moderate proficiency in Arabic.
