Minna Ruckenstein is professor of Emerging Technologies in Society at the University of Helsinki and the founder of the Datafied Life Collaboratory. She has dedicated over a decade to studying the human aspects of digitalisation, datafication, and AI. Currently funded research projects focus on public values in algorithmic futures, re-humanising automated decision-making, and repair and renewal of algorithmic systems. Recent publications include the co-edited Everyday Automation: Experiencing and anticipating emerging technologies (Routledge) and The Feel of Algorithms (University of California Press).
