Adriana Schnyder is 30 years old, a lawyer by profession and a Costa Rican and Swiss national. She studied law at the Universidad Escuela Libre de Derecho in Costa Rica, obtaining her bachelor's degree in Law in 2019. She also has a master's degree in International and European Law from the VUB, Brussels, from which she graduated in 2023. Throughout her professional career, which began in 2014, Adriana has worked for important law firms in Costa Rica, such as Nassar Abogados and Facio Cañas, where she performed tasks as a legal assistant in the areas of Public Law and Environmental law. Later she worked for the consulting firm Deloitte, as a senior lawyer in the Public Law department, where she had her first contacts with the field of data protection and privacy and discovered her passion for this subject. Adriana has helped national and international companies in the development of data privacy policies. Currently, Adriana lives in Brussels, working independently as a legal consultant on data protection and privacy issues, a field in which she plans to continue developing her professional career.
