Gonzalo Sosa is a Doctor in Law and Social Sciences, Public Notary, Graduate in International Relations and Magister in Business Law. He is an Assistant Professor at the University of the Republic, the University of Montevideo and the Catholic University of Uruguay. In June 2020 he was elected member of the Bureau of the Consultative Committee of Convention 108 of the Council of Europe. He is also a member of the Multistakeholder Advisory Board of CPDP Latam. Since july 2020, he holds the position of Personal Data Protection Coordinator at the Personal Data Regulatory and Control Unit and Head of the Legal Department at the Digital Government Agency of Uruguay.
