Dr. Sue Anne Teo is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (RWI). Sue Anne received her PhD in Law from the University of Copenhagen in December 2023 on the topic of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Human Rights. Her PhD research examined the systemic challenges posed by AI towards the foundations of human rights. Prior to entering academia, Sue Anne had been working in the field of human rights for more than 10 years, including with organisations such as UN peacekeeping, the UN Refugee Agency, national human rights institutions and with the RWI on projects in Asia.
