As a lawyer, Martin Madej initially worked in law enforcement for the Federation of German Consumer Organisations. He then spent several years working in legal training for advisors at the regional consumer centres in Germany. After being in charge of communications for the member associations of the Federation of German Consumer Organisations, he switched to political lobbying for the association. There he is a member of the digital and media team. He previously dealt with issues such as the reform of copyright law and then the new platform regulation with the Digital Services Act.
