Iris Muis is valorisation officer and team lead at Data School, Utrecht University. She has a background in law and international relations and has specialized in data ethics for the past seven years. One of the fruits of her labour is the Fundamental Rights and Algorithms Impact Assessment (FRAIA), which has been acknowledged by the European Parliament as an inspiration for the human rights impact assessment in the forthcoming AI Act. Furthermore, Iris is a well-trained public speaker and developer of lifelong learning formats.
