Rocco Saverino joined LSTS in July 2022 as a PhD student. He is part of the ALTEP-DP project and focuses his research on the critical role of Data Protection Authorities in enforcing the regulations on data protection and considering their impact in the context of AI (Act).Rocco obtained his law degree cum laude from the Faculty of Law of the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria (Italy), writing his thesis partly in Granada (Spain) as an Erasmus student. He holds an LL.M. in Digital Society from the University of Alicante (Spain). Rocco is member of the Data Protection Law Scholars Network (DPSN) which aims is to facilitate academic exchanges between international researchers working in the field of data protection law, in Europe and beyond.
