Aoife Sexton is the Chief Privacy Officer in Trūata. Trūata was founded in 2018 by Mastercard and IBM and provides privacy enhancing data analytics solutions and specialises in privacy risk assessment, de-identification and true anonymization of data. It designs and builds cutting edge Privacy Enhancing Technologies that operate at the intersection of Privacy, Big Data and Analytics. Aoife is also the Chairperson of the Open Data Governance Board in Ireland which provides strategic leadership and governance in line with best international practice in the area of Open Data. Aoife is a graduate of UCD and College of Europe, Bruges. She is a lecturer on data protection and technology law at the Law Society of Ireland.
