Georgia is a director in the Cyber, Data and Privacy team of Deloitte Belgium. She's advising organizations from both the public and private sectors on all aspects of data protection compliance. Her focus areas include data protection programs, cross-border data transfer solutions, impact assessments incl. the “adequacy” standards met by non-EU jurisdictions. Before Deloitte, Georgia was practicing in EU law and IT/data protection law in international law firms, the last being DLA Piper. She's involved or leading multiple scientific, legal and business studies covering evaluations of regulations, data protection impact assessments in areas like Health, Consumer Protection, Information Security &Justice.
