M.A. El-Yacoubi is a professor at Institut Polytechnique de Paris since 2008. Prior to that, he has developed at, the French Post, CENPARMI (Concordia Univ., Canada), and Parascript (USA), handwriting recognition software for mail sorting, bank check reading, and form processing, still running daily in automatic reading machines worldwide. His research interests include AI, ML & DL, modeling behavioral signals like handwriting, voice and gestures, in fields like biometrics, sport analytics, with a special focus on e-health, in particular the detection of neurodegenerative and chronic diseases, like Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and Diabetes.
