In this workshop we will explore interventions that can help make the search for connection more joyful when using dating apps. In order to connect authentically, we believe there needs to be room for vulnerability while also providing privacy, safety and security. In this workshop we will: explore the concept of vulnerability from a philosophical and legal lens; analyse the design an algorithm of dating apps; explore the social dimension of dating apps; create social interventions to make the experience of using the apps safer, more enjoyable and (maybe even) more effective in your search of love.
